This Rain Detection Sensor Module is designed to detect rainfall, water droplets, and moisture levels for weather monitoring and automation projects. The module uses a high-quality FR-04 double-sided sensing plate with nickel-plated surface treatment, providing excellent conductivity, oxidation resistance, and long service life.
Equipped with an LM393 voltage comparator, the module offers both analog and digital outputs, making it suitable for a wide variety of Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and IoT applications.

How It Works
When the sensor plate is dry, the digital output (DO) remains HIGH and the indicator LED is off. When raindrops or water contact the sensing plate, the digital output switches LOW and the indicator LED illuminates.
The analog output (AO) provides a variable voltage corresponding to the amount of water detected, allowing microcontrollers to measure rainfall intensity and moisture levels.
